Parent Teacher League (PTL)PTL meets at various times throughout the school year. Meetings and special family activities are advertised in the newsletter, calendar and PTL fliers. PTL also is the primary force behind our fundraisers, especially our March Basketball Tournament. Family involvement and support is greatly needed within our PTL, in order for this organization to continue to be able to provide much needed resources for Immanuel School. All school families are members of the PTL. Become a PTL Board Member Our PTL helps raise much-needed funds for our students and helps “connect families to Christ and each other” by hosting various events all year long. Research shows that children whose parents are involved in school get better grades, do better on tests, and have fewer discipline problems. If you would like to become more involved and make a tremendous difference, please consider becoming a PTL Executive Board member. Contact Principal Wallner at (920) 452-9681 for open positions. Becoming a member of the executive board will now count and be eligible for your volunteer hours. Please consider, and get involved—we would love it! $crip NewsThroughout the year PTL sells “$crip” certificates which are good at many of the area stores. Learn more about scrip in general. The scrip available for immediate purchase is listed on the Purchase Form. However, supplies are limited and occasionally we may “sell out”. 2009 Scrip credits (May through August) have been applied to childcare and school accounts for participating families. Nine families earned credits ranging from $6.15 to $389.86. Would you like to earn tuition credits? Contact our scrip coordinator, Colleen Santino (920) 208-1639, or ask at the school office and find out how you can make our scrip program work for you! Now in stock: Box Tops Challenge ResultsThank you to everyone for collecting all of your box tops, soup labels, milk caps, water labels and McDonalds receipts! We will celebrate in January after we return from Christmas break. Look for more information in following newsletters. Our totals are as follows: Box Tops - 1,210 A huge thanks goes out to the PTL and all of the parent volunteers for all their hard work these past few weeks. A lot of time and effort goes into planning the many events (Dartball Tournament, Basketball Tournament, Grandparents Day) just to name a few. All of the events have gone very well, the Basketball Tournament was a real success. Your efforts are very much appreciated by all, especially the Immanuel Staff!
