Classroom Highlights

We are also reminded to look around and find symbols of the cross (letter T, utility poles, and lines in fences and signs). When we see these “crosses”, we are reminded to thank Jesus for loving us so much and for forgiving our sins by His life and death.

Spanish

Students in Grades K-2 have been learning words to name objects in the house and in the classroom. We have labeled our classroom and enjoy finding and calling out words like escritorio (desk), ventana (window), puerta (door), lapiz (pencil), papel (paper), mesa (table), silla (chair), tijeras (scissors), and many other items we would find in the house and in our school. We also continue to practice vocabulary for food and we always open Spanish class with greeting one another. We are enjoying building our Spanish vocab and hope to be using it often outside of Spanish class!
